In collaboration with biodiversity partners, Experts conducted a qualitative study to understand community perceptions and attitudes towards dugong populations. The project aimed to support conservation efforts by identifying socio-cultural factors influencing human–wildlife interaction. Recommendations were made for targeted community outreach, marine protection strategies, and sustainable livelihood integration.
